Speed to Implementation

Eben Pagen gets the credit for this idea along with a video I recently saw by Devon Brown.

It has to do with a study of the traits of successful people which found that those who implemented new ideas quickly, were 10 times more successful than those that did not.

If you see or read about a good idea for your business, don’t put the implementation of that idea off.  Implement it immediately.  Take some action in the next 10 minutes to put your idea in place, or at least start the process.  If you put it off, you will get distracted and your “great idea” will lose it’s luster so you will likely not ever get around to implementing it.

One of Steven Covey’s great “7 Habits of Highly Successful People”  is to “Begin with the end in mind.”  Begin is the operative word here.  Do it now.
