NY Times article says it best.

When considering your retirement business, consider an online business that you can run from anywhere with an internet connection.

The beauty of an online business is not only the ease with which you can run it, but also the fact that most are very low startup cost, require little (or no) inventory, and with today’s user-friendly systems, you don’t need any real tech savvy to get started.

All in all, whether you are looking to fund your retirement, just supplement your income, or generate serious wealth, starting an online business is really the way to go.

Yes. I agree with Fred. You must be able to run your business while on the move, from home, from vacation or any place on this Earth with just your laptop and an Internet connection. In fact, it IS possible and I have met hundreds of marketers doing just this.

Maybe newcomers need some training and little push to learn the rope.

Hi Fred,

Great site, great info!

I figured out that I better get it going before I retire or I may never be able to retire.

To our success,
Glen

To be honest, whether you are considering retirement or not, I think that the Internet is the new 9 to 5. You can, if you apply yourself make as much (or more!) from a program on the internet than you can “slaving” for someone else.

And since I have my druthers, I would rather do it on the net. And I am thinking that the trend will continue. At least I am hoping so.

Hello Fred,

This is a great site indeed. I feel like retiring from my 9 – 5 job and engage myself fully on the internet. I am now considering retiring early. Keep up the good work.

Great stuff Fred. The only thing that I don’t understand is why anyone wouldn’t want to do it.
