Will jotting down license plates pay the rent?

Archived in the category: MLM - Scam... or Not

Bob Sullivan of MSNBC has posted a good article on the business viability of two new companies on the MLM scene:

  • Data Network Affiliates (DNA), and
  • Narc Technologies Inc. (NarcThatCar.com)

Both are based on the collection of automobile license plate numbers on the premise of selling the data for a profit.

There are some issues with this business model and some bad ratings at the BBB.

I read some of the posts regarding that article on MSNBC.com . Most just plain don’t get it. Some over analyze it to the point they don’t know what to think. As far as the BBB….it’s not the credible monitor that people think it is. If you want their rating, you must pay.
Much more good things to come from this company now called Crowd Sourcing International.

What does make for a viable product? In my book a viable product is something with the potential for growth and profit by a regular Joe Blow. The community at large doesn’t drive to the local grocery store or main street shopping for license plate data. So the odds of motor vehicle data marketed on late night infomercials doesn’t seem plausible.

To discover today’s viable product see http://handsfreetextmessaging.com With texting while driving becoming more of a danger than drinking and driving, hands free devices and services currently have no competition.
