I know that is a crazy title but you know what:  99% of online marketing is what I call “Jamming it Down My Throat”.  It is the main marketing method everyone uses.  And it fails almost 100% of the time.

No wonder there is a 97+% failure rate in online marketing.  That’s only because 3% of the folks LEARN how to market effectively.  Which is to NOT use “Jamming it Down My Throat” tactic.

Trying to jam your business/product/service down my throat without even introducing yourself or finding out what I need is business suicide.

See the “Wealth Guide” ebook cover at the top right of this blog?  It invites you to learn how to establish wealth.  I don’t JAM it down YOUR throat.  It’s only there if you need it because you are not seeing the success you want in your business.

Find out what your prospects want.  Converse with them.  Invite them to tell you what they need.  Then offer a solution to them for the problem they have.

Yes I agree with Fred 100 percent. I have seen too many people fail at their business because of exactly that- they immediately “push” whatever business it that they are promoting! If you take your time and build a relationship with the person first, you get “business success”!!!

I totally agree! I usually have people go to my blog first to allow them to get to know me first and get some good free content. They can always click on a link to join a business if they are interested or get on my mailing list for more information.

Wow thanks. I am new to IM and I think I might be making the same mistake! If someone could check out my page and give me some feedback, that be great! :)

Great post Fred. I’ve made this mistake several times, but am finding that asking questions starts to build relationships which lead to much greater things later on… so your post is right on.

Thanks much,

Thanks Fred,Having been a salesman for 40 years the first thing was to get the customers to like and trust you, before you could help them. The jamming down your throat salesmen would often make quick money but would never last in any of the industries i have been associated with. Remember every customer is a person and needs to be respected and treated well, then you will make serious money overtime.

Yes, thats the worst thing you can do when working with social networks. We need to build a reputation a bond, you know trust before someone wants to do business, you just have to have little patiences. This is for the long tearm jorney
