Many folks get into internet marketing, affiliate marketing, MLM marketing, etc. and STOP when they fail the first time.
Like:
- When you make no sales from your first ad
- When your first MLM downliner quits
- When you can’t figure out how to make a web page
- and the list goes on and on and on.
One of my favorite quotes (that I made up myself) is “The Road to Success is Paved with the Stones of Failure”
If you quit at the first sign of failure, your business model is flawed. Your business model says “Keep Improving” not “If at first you don’t succeed, then quit…”
Apologies to the originator of the following but here is something I read today that really hit home and I’ll tell you when in a second. It only takes one person to make you rich in an MLM. One person who is a top marketer. If you have two of those folks, you are rich like you never imagined. If you have three of those, you probably miscounted!
My first big success in MLM was with GDI. I probably recruited over 50 people into GDI since 2004. One of the first guys I brought in became a big hitter. Notice I did not say he was a heavy hitter when I brought him in. He BECAME one and made a lot of money for me and tons more for himself. It allowed my wife to be home with our kids to homeschool them and be there during their younger years.
- You never know when you will sponsor a big marketer
- You never know when one of your recruits will grow and become a big marketer
- You never know when you will become a big marketer
That’s why you can’t quit. Just keep improving to overcome the last failure and to prevent others. I can guarantee you that EVERY marketer fails frequently. But the successful ones don’t quit.
