There is a tendency in the homebased business industry to center new product lines around vitamin and herbal products. Some companies are built on a single new “juice” product based on some newly ‘discovered’ rain forest plant or some wild story. As of this writing, there are new juice companies starting up at the rate of 3 to 5 per month.
The reason I bring this up is that only about half of the population takes vitamins on a regular basis and WAY less (around 20%) take any herbal or ‘natural’ supplements. See this article on the American Dietetic Association site.
Basing an entire business around a product that has such a small part of the potential customer based does not seem to be good practice.
That’ why I like Oxyfresh! Potential customers for Oxyfresh are men, women, children, cats, dogs and horses. That’s a MUCH bigger potential customer base than if I just concentrated on vitamins and herbs.
Give it some thought!
